  • I was so disappointed about this course :( I had a good time because I went with my friend but the course conditions are terrible. The course is super dry and when you tee off there is no one checking...  more »
  • Visited this course 5 years ago also. Still a friendly place. The course was in great shape for May. The winter rains may have helped. The crew was always busy manicuring it, but not in your way. Rent...  more »
  • Because it was the first golf courses in local tour companies staff and as a beginner, and reasonable. Championship course and listened, but really? I facilities I. Was once so far but now deserted. There are many often leaves at the fair fee and lose sight of the ball. Difficulty is not high and it looks clean, but not a whiff of Hawaii?!. It was so different from what I had imagined. Rates are $ 100 green fees ➕ was the Club rental $ 50.

  • Being the closest course, I would love for it to be good. Unfortunately, management is not maintaining the course, nor the practice area, nor the restaurant. Repairs are slow. The range only takes cash, has to hand out balls in useless nylon string sacks that hurt to carry. The majority of the range is mats only, which would be fine, but all but 2 mats are old and worn out. There is no place to practice pitching or chipping. There are plenty of places that say NO CHIPPING OR PITCHING.
  • Terrible and overpriced course, don't waste your money! We came to Hawaii Kai to finish off are amazing stay in Oahu, but the course was anything but amazing. The only thing I liked about this course was that the staff was very friendly, and that is the only reason I am giving this course two stars. First off, the fairways were brown and solid. Every time I hit off the fairway, it felt like i was hitting off a rock.
  • Good price for a "bucket" of balls and there's a roof to keep the sun if you.
  • Great driving range. Was raining when I went but the roof was sufficient. Hank was very nice and let me borrow some spare used clubs.
  • Par 3 course could use some watering. Grass is brown.

Where to stay in Honolulu

Most of Honolulu's luxury hotels and oceanfront condos are located in Waikiki, the city's most popular neighborhood. Staying in this area keeps you within walking distance of one of the world's finest beaches, but it also means paying a bundle for your room and board. To avoid high rates and big crowds, consider the budget hotels outside Waikiki's busiest areas. Smaller hotels just a short drive from the city's beaches offer comfortable rooms and good food at a fraction of the price of their Waikiki equivalents.
