  • We were too late for a guided tour, but just walking among these amazing trees was wonderful. So many varieties that we had never seen ~ at least, we thought we had never seen. A HUGE crepe myrtle, a ...  more »
  • There are a variety of flowers, large park-like feel. Mosquitoes, so bring insect repellent spray is the best.

  • The only downside to the Foster Gardens is that you can always hear traffic nearby . . . but that serves as a reminder of how nice it was to find such a beautiful oasis in the middle of the big city.  more »

  • I love the place. I catched a lot of pokemons. Haha
  • A very diverse collection of tropical plants. Lush and beautiful botanical garden on 14 acres. As the oldest of the Honolulu Botanical Gardens, Foster Garden displays a mature and impressive collection of tropical plants. Some of the magnificent trees in this garden were planted in the 1850s by Dr. William Hillebrand.
  • We joined the Friends of Foster Botanical Gardens to support the gardens, FBG is an oasis on the edge of Downtown Honolulu. So peaceful and for the most part quiet, if you ignore the ambulances that occasionally drive by.
  • Beautiful, lots of different species, peaceful, not crowded at all. Quite a lot of mosquitos when I visited it. You can request to take wedding photos there (yes additional fee), but the request will take a couple of days to be proved.
  • Twelve pokestops in a six minute loop. Minimal spawns except for a Scyther nest.
