  • The mall is fine, but the best part is the Japanese food market with $1 beers. Similar to Japanese street food, naturally with a Hawaiian flavor. Highly recommended, may get rowdy at night.
  • SO many stores!!! What a big place this is, but it is all set out nicely, starting from high end stores on the bottom floor to more cheap stores at the top. if you ever visit ala moana center you must...  more »

  • Ala Moana Center is a huge outdoor shopping mall. When I went there were hula dancers on the main stage and the atmosphere of the mall is all-round friendly. The design is simply beautiful, almost feels like taking a stroll in a park. The place is huge! so I got lost quite a few times. I enjoyed the huge book store that was downstairs somewhere. There were also a range of shops to choose from and surprisingly with good discount sales! Bathrooms are very clean too! :D
  • Beautiful outdoor shopping centre that is perfect for the balmy Hawaiian weather. All the major shopping stores are represented here and there is a couple of great food courts for dining. There is also a floor with restaurants and bars and lots of parking in various car park buildings. The parking can get a little confusing if your not parking in the ground floor so make sure to take notice of where you park!
  • It's a shoppers paradise. My favorite places to stop at are Barnes & Noble, Papyrus & Victoria's Secret - just to name a few. The convenience of having the Satellite City Hall there is a plus.
  • The gold standard for shopping centers in Hawaii. Always clean and looking to improve the shopping experience. Can find cheaper prices elsewhere but you can find just about anything here in one place. Parking can be tough but spaces always available on the upper levels with easy access to the center. Visit the new Shirokiya Village across from Foodland for great Japanese food and cheap beer on tap!
  • This is an insane mall. It is large, clean and has plenty to do. The best is the Japanese food court hidden in the parking garage area. About 50 kiosk worth of vendors selling pretty much everything you can imagine. The food is soooooo goooooood. We were there daily to try as much as we can. Super clean and cheap $1 beer might I add. The upper food court has all the normal national chain as well as local food available as well. Shopping wise, it has some really high end shops as well as national chain stores. You can literally spend all day there shopping and eating. Its definitely a destination location.
