  • The centre gets better and bigger every visit. No matter if you want to shop eat or just wander around this is the place for you. It's easy to get to and the shopping is great.
  • Took the wife as she is a shop aholic. She lived it, plenty of shops to look at, 4 levels and plenty to eat, and to chose from. level 3 has a bar with cold beer for the boys. Good luck!!
  • We loved this place. We jumped on the pink bus line to get here which was a short trip. So many shops to choose from and if you love shopping you'll think you've died and gone to heaven. Something for...  read more »
  • Ala Moana Center is a huge outdoor shopping mall. When I went there were hula dancers on the main stage and the atmosphere of the mall is all-round friendly. The design is simply beautiful, almost feels like taking a stroll in a park. The place is huge! so I got lost quite a few times. I enjoyed the huge book store that was downstairs somewhere. There were also a range of shops to choose from and surprisingly with good discount sales! Bathrooms are very clean too! :D
  • Tons of stores, pretty much anything you can think of is here. Plenty of places to eat, although we usually try and avoid the food court. They've done a great job expanding it. The new wing looks great and the addition of Bloomingdale's is a nice touch. I wanted to give it 4 stars for parking and how crowded it can get but on an island that is to be expected so it would be unfair in my opinion.
  • Huge...but every detail is fantastic. Great stores, friendly service, and beautiful architecture. A great place to shop if you are near Honolulu. (Good luck seeing it all!)
  • Ala Moana shopping center has been in place for more than 50 years! Growing up on Oahu or the neighbor islands has implanted definite "snap shots" of this center into our long term memories. I remember enduring a 2.5 hour bus trip from the other side of the Island to spend the day here. Now it attends to a global audience wanting to partake of the open air ambiance and services. There is definitely something here for everyone. And when you tire of the retail madness, right across the sea side boulevard. You have the park with green grass, shade, and ocean. You can work up an appetite or walk off your meal.
  • Ala Moana is strictly for tourists now. Very few local stores left. It's a shame really. At least the parking situation is vastly improved now that the new mauka structure is open, although for Ala Moana being Hawaii's premier mall, they are terrible in leading the way in EV charging stalls. There's only four Volta stations total on opposite ends of the mall, which are occupied 24/7, yet there's almost 10,000 stalls and a Tesla store. What's up with that?!?!
