  • I can't say I have been here other than to use their dock for my boat. It tends to be very very busy for bbqs or other activities. Even for the dock, there is a line, but it serves its purpose.  more »
  • There is no beach. Its like a small pond surrounded by coarse sand. The crowd at the beach was so classless and cheap, the area felt completely unsafe. We left in less than 10 minutes. YUCK!  more »

  • I really liked this place. Nice little Beach for the kids. One thing is I didn't realize we had to pay for parking and we ended up getting a parking ticket of $23 but now I know. The kids really enjoyed it as well. It also has a restaurant right next to beach area.
  • This is next door to Biscayne. They have a restaurant which I thought was overrated. They have a huge parking lot and the cost for entry to the park is $5. This is not a National Park and national park passes don't work here. They have a swimming hole which should be good for children though it seemed dirty to me. Visitors can play volleyball ball here. I think it is a good complement for Biscayne next door.
  • Nice place for a family outing. There's a restaurant, LA Playa Grill, a beach, and last but not least the marina. The boat ramps are the center of the park. Wet slips are available if you don't like the hassle of trailering your boat. They have a kiosk now for the using the ramps. The hut at the entrance is not necessary, just creating a bottleneck on crowded days. The beach is not much, more like a kiddie pool. The restaurant is average. Be careful if you come in from boating after dark. They lock the gate but usually good about opening it, usually.
  • I love this place...many times I came for having luch out of house ...the seen were magnificent...good kayaking
  • It's ok. The water is kinda gross. It's like swimming in a smelly lake. But the view and location is pretty
