Everglades Alligator Farm, Homestead
Categories: Wildlife Areas, Nature & Parks
Home to more than 2,000 individual alligators, Everglades Alligator Farm gives visitors the opportunity to see the creatures in their natural habitat and view the working processes of the farm itself. The facility operates as a provider for other institutions, hatching and raising alligators in an ethical way and providing viable eggs to other farms. Wander the park's trails and paths to get a glimpse of the alligator-raising process in action, or sit in on one of the wildlife shows that include snakes and other Florida animals. If you're lucky, you'll even get to watch a live alligator feeding. One of the mainstays of any visit and quintessential Florida activity is hopping on an airboat and zipping through the lush, watery landscape of the Everglades. Make Everglades Alligator Farm a centerpiece of your Homestead vacation itinerary, and find what else is worth visiting using our Homestead itinerary builder.

It has car parking. We have some species during the tour. Also very funny guide makes fun ride. The first and second row is which gets more wet, so if you go to carry camera, which is resistant to water. In the show you can enter later, found it out of time we live. A abuse to them crocodiles huge, I at least not I could resist be sitting more than 30 seconds, had a feeling bitter, because all what make stretch is over, disturb them and make the "show" funny to pure abuse. I believe that human beings are taking consciousness that these shows no longer should exist. I recommend the Airboat ride, but NOT abuse that comes next.show original
Just as the website says. The boat rides were a lot of fun and a little wet. The displays and shows were interesting.

We have rather seen that the farm visit was an ad-on. The ride with the air boot makes a lot of fun and is associated with one, two or three "showers". There are of course also to see alligators. The farm is like any factory farming/breeding isn't for everyone. See the alligators grow from small to quite in the breeding tank. A few large turtles and birds and you're done. Of course even a gift shop.show original
Feeding the baby alligators is a kick. They grunt and make a huge fuss when they hear you crank the quarter machine to get the food. Large feeding show interesting. The "nature" trail is very cool. We were lucky to see a crocodile on the airboat ride. We also saw a wild alligator beyond the outer fence. Explore everything to get your money's worth.
The Everglades alligator farm is a great place to spend the morning/afternoon. The park isn't very big but they got a good amount of animals. They do some shows which are definitely worth to visit, the entertainer was very friendly and answered all the questions the crowd had. The airboat tour is a lot of fun, first you 'fly' slow to see some wild alligators but after the pilot will give more gas. If you are in the front you will definitely get wet, so be careful! The park is a must visit when you visit Miami/Florida!
What a dump! only people from up north can possible find this horrible torture pit for animals nice. Polluted, unhealthy animal conditions, typical Florida Tourist Trap disgraceful.
A great place to visit. Staff are knowledgeable and passionate about the animals and reptilians they have. The airboat is a lot of fun and you get to see the size and scale of the Everglades along with seeing wild alligators.
The shows are great and the knowledge is there thanks to the professionals. The air boat was definitely something to bask in the ambience rather than expecting a gater every turn you must understand that the animals have a mind of their own if they want to be seen they will surface if not they will be hidden. Worth a visit. The gator pit was rad! All the other animals add some flair to just expecting gators. Fun day over all!
