  • Really nice heavily wooded setting. The sites are a little crowded which is typical of older campgrounds. Stayed in campground 2 site 72 in 40' Motorhome. Good spot with a nice view of the water throu...  more »
  • We stayed here last weekend in an Airstream. If you are mobility challenged, stay away from sites 65-74 on the water. The pads are level but erosion means there is a huge drop off first step outside t...  more »

  • My family and I spent the weekend here. Really enjoyed it alot. The park was well kept. Staff on duty 24 hours. Campsites were spacious and easily accessible. Very clean showers and laundromat. You can bet on having a good hot shower each and every time. Never have to pay to do laundry, its free!!. You can rest assured that my family and I will return to lake Claiborne state park!!
  • We only passed through and stayed one night. This place is a hidden gem! Lots of sites. Lots to do! They have the best and cleanliest showers and bathrooms! Handicap accessibility. Even have a small laundry room! Wish we could've stayed longer. Beautiful place.
  • The lake was beautiful, the bathroom was clean, our campsite was larger than expected, we didn't have any issues with mosquitos, and workers were helpful and kind. Sadly, there was torrential rain at night and the surrounding stores didn't have what we needed to better keep ourselves dry. Also, Homer is dry, so we had trouble getting more liquor.
  • Clean campsites and bathrooms. The picnic area, walking trail, beach and children's playground were great.
  • This is one of our favorite places to get away for the weekend. The park is beautiful with plenty of camp sites right on the water. Fishing, boating, skiing, hiking, frisbee golf, swimming...this place has it all!
