This was a perfect place to take the young ones (5 and 3) to burn off some energy while enjoying the outdoors. The path around the lake is about two miles. We arrived not long before sunset, so we did... more »

Love it here and so do my kids and dogs. It has the simple, mostly shaded, 2 mile loop around the Lake or I can branch off to the paved greenway if I want a longer run. So many Pokestops and Pokemon for my kids too which is perfect to keep them from whining on our walks. Its my go to place for a run or walk with my kids and dogs. We also really enjoyed the Light up the Lake with Lures event the town sponsored there.
Amazing peaceful place to visit but literally SO hard to catch an actual bass, which really bothers me as a young angler. I wouldn't recommend this place to people who want to fish but great for relaxing.
You know, Fuquay could really learn a thing or two about Holly Springs parks which is sad to say seeing as how I have lived and grown up in Fuquay over 30 yeard. This park is clean and well maintained and is filled with Geocaches and that Pokemon Go stuff for kids. Guess thats cause the workers actually care about keeping a great park.
Great little park! Nice staff, good fishing from the dock, reasonable boat rentals. They host lots of fun activities here as well.
Great 2 mile running trail around the lake with plenty of shade. Family friendly. Would be even better with a playground. Fishing gets crowded on the weekend.
