  • This is a nice "Day Trip" but camping can be a different story. It reminds me of my youth in Georgia when State Parks were an after thought. This lovely area is in a great place but needs some "friend...  more »
  • Clean park with friendly staff. Campground has large sites and wooded. Cabins are clean and quaint. Some people would say the cabins are out of date. If you want modern, go to the Hilton. If you want to feel like your camping, you will like it.
  • Bring tic repellent. Pretty park at first walk through. But I wonder what they are using the entry fees for since everything but the lunch pavilions and kiddie playground is in state of disrepair
  • Very beautiful state park. The lodge is grand & they have a friendly staff. It has a trail that goes around the entire lake. You can tent camp or they have Several cabins for rent. The bathrooms are always clean... a little outdated. But, nice. It's also nice that they have a washer and dryer located in the the bathroom area.
  • It's a nice get a way state park. We have our family reunion there every year.
  • Beautiful park great accommodations and trails. Boat dock needs a lot of work. Disc golf course is fantastic
