  • This is a great park with walking trails and bridle trails. The trails are all at easy to moderate difficulty but the scenery is beautiful
  • Nice out of the way and little known state park. I enjoyed the hiking and the campground. It's about a half hour from Rocky Mount, so you may want to bring refreshments.
  • Lovely! We enjoyed walking the nature trails and eating lunch at the picnic area.
  • Nice hiking trails, huge picnic area and helpful resources
  • A great place to relax and unwind on my time off. The whole park is clean. The staff are friendly. The campground is quiet and privacy between sites.
