  • The Holland Peanut Store is one of a kind. Family owned business since 115 years and they offer you more than peanuts. Great hand dipped chocolats which are of the Fabiano family's signature. When you...  more »

  • The selection, great. The kids who are working are there to help were great and helpful. The lady who was running it, rude! If I had not paid, I would have left the stuff on the counter and walked out. Here is a clue lady, My wife takes pictures of EVERYTHING! on your door you want people to follow you on Instagram, yet you freak out and embarrass my wife by telling her she must be competition who wants your prices on the internet? It was a hand written label with a cute name for a product and you treated her with much disrespect! One, you prices are not some well guarded secrete the internet must not know about. Two all you had to do was say. please show my product, but my prices need not be on the internet. NOT oh here you can take a picture of a bag of candy! YOU were the only RUDE person we met in this wonderful town!
  • Classic, retro, old-school -- this place will make you feel like a kid again.
  • Awesome selection of common and hard to find candies. Friendly and helpful staff, love this place!
  • Super helpful staff and solid prices!
  • I was born and raised in this area and will never forget going into the peanut store. I read reviews about how the owner is talking over the kids and telling them not to touch. They have done that for over 45 years. That is just what they do. They are not the most friendly people and they hire young people to work there that really do not know much... But with all that said. If you go in knowing this is how it works in their store, then the trip is much easier to deal with. Maybe this is the culture they were raised in. I will say that every time I come back to Holland, I have to come here. They have the BEST hand made milk chocolate seafoam ever. I know of no other place to get this. As long as they continue the traditions of the store, just as they did in the 60s, you really have to appreciate the experience, the product, and the non friendly attitude sometimes displayed. It just reminds me of being a kid and going in there and the old man would follow us every move we made. Some things will never change, and in as changing world, it is nice to go back and be treated the same as when you were a kid. I hope they continue to be just a little unfriendly, that way I know I am at the real peanut store.
