  • Kids would go everyday if they could! Great place to visit. They are handicap accessible, have wonderful exhibits, have awesome animals and programs. The volunteers interact with live animals and guests which is always fun. Hikes available. A beautiful garden area to explore as well as two stores. The kids can walk it backwards yet still beg to go as they just love to play in the playground areas and see the animals. As must do.
  • Very nice place for kids to walk, run, play, and learn in the warmer months when they are open. Feels more like a stroll through the woods with intermittent animal displays and play areas than a typical zoo. Has good educational sessions, excellent outdoor and indoor playgrounds, and a nice little hike off on one side.
  • Great little science center. One of our "must-do's" for our summer visits to Squam. We live not far from a much larger science center in Massachusetts, but we always go to this one when we're in the area, and it never disappoints. I suggest a membership if you are a regular to the area. Even if you only visit twice; it's worth it.
  • A great educational/outdoors experience for families of all ages. This is also a great field trip destination. My first grade students love this trip!
  • Visited for the first time in August 2017. Was really impressed with this place. The animal habitats were ample and preserved as their natural habitat. There were so many different fun activities for the kids to do and learn about. Very interactive center. There is also a great playground there as well. Definitely look into membership because you'll want to visit more than once
