  • I've been a rock hound since I was a little kid, often begging my parents to stop and take me in any rock shop we happened to drive by. This store has to have the best and most varied selection (specimens from the small, cheaper variety all the way up to museum-quality items that are thousands of dollars) I've ever seen! They offer so much more than just petrified wood, but the amount of petrified wood they do have inside and out is mind boggling. The museum displays were interesting as they contained some rare items I'd never seen before. The pressed penny machines were a plus since I collect those too. I also appreciated the sale area that had some nice items marked down substantially. Just when you think you've seen it all, there's an outdoor rock yard with lots of larger, bulk rocks, some polished, but most not. I think the prices are very reasonable considering prices I've seen in other shops and on eBay. If you have the slightest interest in rocks/minerals/fossils, this place is definitely worth a stop just to look around! I know I'll be going back anytime I'm in the area again!
  • Thought would just be like any other gift shop but it exceeded all of my expectations. We spent over an hour looking around inside and out in the rock yard. Prices are exceptional and the staff we so lovely and helpful. I didn't want to leave this magical place
  • Great variety of rocks, cute gift shop, Awesome pond. Keep an eye on your kids. Prices aren't cheap. Has a penny machine for souvenir. Always clean, Customer service is Superior. American owned by Jim Gray and family. Come on in take a look highly recommended for everyone.
  • Lots of things to see and photograph here, including stones, decorative furniture, fossils, and of course, petrified wood. There is also a large cutting and polishing room, as well as an indoor pond with fish and turtles. The employees were friendly and the prices were very fair. Definitely a good stop if you're looking to pick up some souviners.
  • Worth stopping and looking around even if you don't really like rocks. But if you like natural wonders, then this place is heaven.
