  • Nice little park maintained by the National Park Service. There is no entry fee. Expect to spend 30 minutes to an hour here. Inside the visitors center is a small museum chronicling Abraham Lincoln's early years spent in Kentucky. There is also a short video which talks about his early life and the history of the memorial itself. The memorial sits at the top of a hill. If you don't want to climb the steps, there is a (very) gently sloping trail leading from the visitors center up to the memorial.
  • A good visit. For my kid to become a ranger you had to visit 2 a different site and we didn't have time for that so she was upset. We will have to return at some point.
  • Recommend a visit to anyone interested in the history of Abe Lincoln and this area of Kentucky. Beautiful country and knowledgeable staff at park.
  • Such a cool historic site! Super short drive from Mammoth Cave. Lots of interesting things to see, but the icing on the cake was how nice ALL of the park rangers there were! Every park ranger I have ever met has been so nice, but wow, the crew here really were the best!! Make sure to check out the Junior Ranger programs at all the national parks! Will definitely visit again when in the area.
  • Every time I am in the area I visit. It is a special place. What an amazing person. Everyone should know of him.
