  • Great waterfront history resource, well curated and with programs for kids, adults, art and historical installations, Sinatra birthday retrospectives and much more. Go visit!
  • A lecture about black people and ww1 and how they were treated. Free admission. Excellent lecture very well delivered and the message was clear - blacks got a raw deal in ww1 and particularly from gen...  more »
  • This museum was interesting for me. It is installed in a brick building that looks like an old factory. I learned something of the colonization by the Dutch, I saw vintage clothes, drawings and documents. All very interesting. Worth it, provided that you may already know manhattan and you upon time.

  • Well done! History of Hoboken is well presented and as a member of the Historical Society we have received "Chapbooks" which tell the story of Hoboken residents and how they came to live in the city. Very important to keep these stories alive! I have purchased two old-time photos from the museum that capture the city perfectly! Support this museum becuase it would be a shame if the stories of the city can't continue to be told!
  • I have walked or driven by here thousands of times. Finally stopped in with some friends. Well worth it even for old Hobokeners like me. Well presented, clear exhibits for this small, devoted museum. Go!
  • Small but informitive
  • It's a unique museum. That's interesting because it's a rotating exhibits that concentrate on the various aspects of Hoboken history form the foundation of the Hoboken Historical Museum. Also I could saw some popular displays include the city's contribution to American music, the history of the Hudson River, and art galleries for local artists. *****
  • Small, but nice.
