  • Seafood is great. Really a jumping place. Chef is friendly. Watching the sunset was amazing. Great hush puppies. Salmon salad is soooo good.
  • I've gone through a couple of boats over the years. The staff at the boathouse makes owning a boat as easy as you could imagine. From placing a simple call to the tackle shop to have my boat filled with gas and put in the water to the best boat mechanics I've ever dealt with! If you own a boat, don't hesitate to use these guys for every aspect from storage to maintenance. You can't go wrong! I'm planning to talk with them in the spring about buying another. I've had my eye on a Grady White for a while!
  • This review is for the Boathouse boat repair and maintenance facility. NOT the restaurant. The restaurant is great. The boathouse boat repair service is poor. I was warned by several friends NOT to take my boat to them for service. However, since they were a grady white dealer, then I figured they would be best suited for my repair. When I picked up my boat (the first time), I was shocked at the labor price they charged. I knew they would be expensive, but what they charged me for repair was ridiculous. So, I told myself, you were told they were a rip-off... and I paid the bill and vowed not to return. THEN, about 6 weeks later, one of the parts they replaced failed. So I took it back for them to repair the repair. I specifically told them that if there was going to be a charge for this WARRANTY work, to please call me so I would authorize the charge. They didn't call. When I went to pickup the boat, they told me there was a $75 labor charge for them to replace the part. Their reasoning was that the part was under warranty (because it was brand new)... but I would have to pay for labor for them to replace. This business has a terrible reputation for ripping people off. I've horror stories from other boat owners who were charged $400 for a $50 part... then also had to pay labor for install. Similar stories for excessive time/labor charges for simple repairs... and example... I had them reconnect a fish locker drain hose... mind you... the hose was only 12 inches long, and the access plate was 6 inches away from the hose. You don't even have to stick your hand in the access up to your elbow to reach the location. And they charged me 3 HOURS labor to reconnect the hose. This place is a VERY DISHONEST business. There are too many other boat repair yards to choose from. My suggestion is to go somewhere else.
  • We didn't eat here and ate at skull creek, but we parked in the parking lot for the boat house since the lot for skull Creek was full.
  • Great marina for dry storage
  • The best sea food ever
