Where to stay in Hilton Head

A favorite East Coast beach destination, Hilton Head caters to a range of visitors, with budget options as well as world-class luxury hotels. Accommodations here are priciest in the summer months, during the high season. Among upscale options, choose from high-end resorts, hotels of all sizes, and gorgeous villas along the water. There are also a number of charming cottages and short-term rental apartments for those who prefer more private lodging. Shoestring travelers will find a few more affordable hotels here, or you can stay in nearby Bluffton to save cash if you don't mind the commute.

  • Kaitlyn was the best beverage cart girl and the course was magnificent. Great for groups and huge fun.  more »

  • I brought my 6 year old daughter to play golf on a real course for the first time here. First, the course was great. Good layout, fair, and fun. The best part was the staff, they were great with us and really made us feel welcome. Everyone was great and it made for a great experience for us. We will come back.
  • Played the last week of March when the weather was ideal and was so dissappointed with the quality of the course. Poor grass, weedy, baren, and poorly groomed
  • Played last day of February in mid 60s temps and 20 mph winds. Thought I was playing against the wind on 16 of the 18 holes. Played in 3.5 hours- awesome! Greens were in good shape. Traps well maintained and there are many of them! No practice range there and that would be my biggest complaint. Staff was friendly. I'd play again. I enjoyed the RTJ Ocean Course more. Looking forward to playing the Hills course in near future.
  • Very nice course and well maintained. pros- greens and whole course well maintained. Staff was very polite. Cons.- the yardage markers were off. We were on a 319 yard hole by the scorecard. I hit my driver maybe 250. It hit it well but it almost rolled on the green. So something if off. They may move some of the tees up to speed up play.
  • This is a great alternative to some of the very high priced courses in the area but it doesn't sacrifice quality. It's fairly easy to get out here without some of the wait.
