  • Lovely place to take the kids for a small day trip! It's free, but they accept donations. There is a lot of walking and reading to do, but it's well worth it!
  • Great place for kids and adults! Hosts are very knowledgeable and share marvelous information. Great hands-on activities for kids too!
  • This is the place if you want to take a deep breath, and spend a couple of hours away from the beach or golfing! My family loved it and we have a three year-old and a seven year-old! We saw a super presentation of alligators and Low Country animals. The kids even got to touch the gator! Wonderful place to take a walk, look at art, see some horses, learn about the history of the island, and spend a little money in the cute gift shop. I bought 2 stained glass alligator mobiles for my kids. Can't understand why folks thought this place was boring. I guess it depends on what you bring to the experience. We'll be back!
  • Beautiful boardwalks, unfriendly staff. Butterfly enclosure was lovely, children's room was fun, just don't expect anything but gruff, curt answers to the most basic of questions from the elderly ladies employed here.
  • Great place educational and very reasonable. You can rent a sego and take the tour riding in style... But walking the nature trails seems better....
