  • Not worth a special trip, but if you are walking or riding on the wonderful trails, or driving to Harbortown, take the side trip for a quick visit. Interesting.  more »
  • We really enjoyed the Sea Pines Bike Trail and this was a nice quick stop to look at for a few minutes. The plaques gave some good background history and the setting was wooded and nice. I wouldn't ma...  more »

  • I expected a little more. I was seriously disappointed especially having to pay $6 just to drive into where this is located. Hilton Head is a racket!
  • An enjoyable historic site to stop and go back in time to the early days of the low country. Nicely preserved as a self guided tour that will take 20-30 minutes and is never crowded.
  • One of the few places on Hilton Head that delves into the reality that the whole island used to be nothing but cotton slave plantations. A nice little piece of the not so pretty side of HH history.
  • Easy, flat hike around what remains of the plantation, which is mostly tabby foundations and walls.
