  • It was a very nice place to take a walk, bikes were available to rent. We live so close, and were happy we finally got there. The children have gone back for bike rides.  more »
  • We spent our afternoon at duke farms and it was a glorious day all around. The estate is gorgeous, well kept and beautifully marked with trails and interesting historical and botanical information. There were at least a dozen excellent farm stands with fresh local vegetables, pastas, breads, meats, jams and jellies. There are walking paths, bike rentals and even a tram so people of all ages could easily enjoy the farm. We can't wait to get back!
  • Duke Farms has been closed to the public for quite some time. It's only within the past few years that they've reopened and thank goodness they have. The scenery is stunning with beautiful lakes, trees, flowers and more. I've seen turtles, cranes, herons and a huge variety of butterflies and other birds in past visits. The park has a plethora of bike and hiking trails for you to explore. Parking is free and you can BYOB (Bring your own Bike) or rent a bike for cheap. The Orchid House is really amazing and a great spot for pictures. My girlfriend really enjoys practicing macro-photography there. Duke Farms is definitely a must-visit for any Central New Jersey resident.
  • The park is really clean and well-maintained and you can easily spend a whole day here if you so please. They provide a paper map but the cool thing is that all of the spots within the park have their own locations on Google maps so it's a lot easier to navigate that way.
  • Huge & beautiful park for cycling, walking with family and friends. You can grab your sandwich amd enjoy it by the lake view among natural environment. Bike rentals are available. Restaurant is cute.
  • They rent bikes at $5 for 2 hours. The premises are very clean and extremely well maintained. They also conduct many interesting workshops around the theme of preservation and sustainability.
