  • Have enjoyed many visits with my dogs. Boston Terrier enjoys the small dog park. Alway a pleasure to see all the other types of dogs (and owners)!
  • We love this park and have been going here since it opened. It has a small and a large dog area, so you don't have to mix your pup if you don't want to.
  • Easy to find, Hondo Dog Park is split into 3 areas: one for little dogs, one for bigger dogs, and one that's all gravel (in case of rain). My Dane loves to come here and run around with other dogs, an...  more »

  • I don't have a dog... Yet, but I do walk around this dog park on a regular basis. It is always PACKED. Lots of awesome and happy dogs running around in glee. It's a large park with a big grassy hill, filled with shady trees and benches. Hondo has three sections. There is a smaller dig area separate and a gravel area for when it rains or they are mowing the large field. Since it is so popular your dog will likely find several new best friends here every visit, but that also means that parking is very limited. There is surplus parking across the street along the entrance to the sports complex (and Ron Tonkin Field). On a hot day I saw someone bring a kiddy pool out and fill it with the water station for all the dogs to play in. It was quite a sight!
  • Just love bringing all my puppy kids and clients here! The grassy area is just beautiful with plenty of shade to escape the heat.
  • It is always kept clean and the people there are very nice. The dogs love to run there because it's such a big space to frolic. My Ginger loves it!
  • Decent dog park for dogs of all sizes. We brought our small dog in and she fit right in with the other dogs. Great atmosphere right near the Ron Tonkin Stadium especially if you go on a game day.
  • Great place to take your dog! Not a lot of trees and I have never been there when the water was running. Hot days will be a little "rough" for your pup...
