We were looking for a quick and interesting meal before the Mt. Rushmore lighting ceremony and decided on the Miner Brewery, which is next to Prairie Berry and is part of the same company. The menu is...  more »

Interesting winery that's been handed down over several generations. Fantastic variety of wines. Good tasting room that helps you select the wines you would like to purchase.  more »

FREE wine tasting, need I say more? The atmosphere is wonderful and the staff is so friendly and informative. We always make a point to stop when we're in the area for our free tasting and a few bottles. There's more than just wine! They provide meals and coffee along with their amazing and unique wines. We have never had a bad experience here!

While in Rapid city we went to Prairie Berry as my wife and daughter were there last year and they raved about the rhubarb wine, and it didn't disappoint. The wine tasting offered an extensive selection and staff were friendly and knowledge without tempting to hardshell. We left after purchasing several bottles.

Delicious wine, friendly staff, amazing menu! Kids even loved this place with the games that were on the tables. One of my must return to places!

Gave me a whole new view on wine! If you like strawberry rhubarb pie, you'll definitely enjoy the Red Ass. Carol was informative and friendly while providing a quick history of each bottle of wine. Picked up quite a few bottles to take with and signed up to get more delivered when I get home!

I enjoy the different wines. Lawrence Elk is one of my favorites. Of course the red ass rhubarb is delish too. I love that they have a wide variety and they are also close to a brewery for those non-wine lovers. I do think the food is way over priced a 19 dollar flat bread is not worth it. And it wasn't that good. :-( go for the wine skip the food go into hill city for food!
