  • Poe Springs is not the largest place to swim in High Springs, but the park is nice and the lack of an entry fee makes it so accessible to anyone! Love this spring. There is shallow water for small kid...  more »
  • Spending a week in the area and did not want to spend big money on the weekend at a crazy busy park so Poe Springs Park was our park of choice on Sunday. What a pleasant surprise! Huge well maintained...  more »
  • You cannot beat that it's free to get in. Only open Thursday - Sunday. Great spring area for swimming. Good place to go to hang and swim.  more »

  • We usually go during the week so it's nice and quiet. If your looking for a nice chill spring this would be it but like I said avoid the weekends. It gets crazy just like any other spring but it's also free so it's a little easier to deal with the crowd. Short walk down the boardwalk is pretty nice ass well with good access to the mighty Santa Fe River.
  • beautiful place with clear water. Only down side would be how busy it gets on weekends and with some very adult activities and talk going on which made waiting to hang out there with my 2 kids very hard.. if you can go on a week day you won't regret it.
  • Really nice amenities and while the water is just a hair murkier than other surrounding springs, I think it's my favorite. If you stay still while snorkeling, tons of turtles and fish will surround you. I wish I had pictures but I don't have an underwater camera. Picnic tables and bathrooms are nice. Lots of views of the river. I highly recommend visiting here!
  • Best swimming hole around, turning those desperate frowns all upside down. Poe Springs Park really rock. Hope to see y'all there.
  • Nice family friendly atmosphere plus it's free!! I would recommend water shoes.
