  • Spent 4 nights tent camping here. Excellent trails, beautiful Springs. Camping area is not "secluded", but it's a small trade-off for how nice the rest of the park is to hike and swim. The lower numbered sites are close to the kayak put-in! Only complaint would be how quickly the hot water runs out in the showers (around 2 minutes). Other than that, bathroom facilities were well kept.
  • Beautiful day at Blue Springs! Totally different vibe being a state park now. Very family friendly. We had a great day at an affordable price. You can't beat $6 for a car load compared to $10 per person. The real bonus is that it's pet friendly now too! I highly recommend Gilchrist Blue Springs State Park.
  • Cute park. Pretty simple place. Lots of spots to bar-b-q. I imagine they are slam packed on the hot days. The swimming area has nice access for all and you can kayak and canoe with the rentals at a reasonable price. Beautiful place that they seem to be fixing up. I'd recommend giving it a try with the family. Florida State parks are cheap ways to have fun and they have plenty of educational stuff you can always check out too.
  • Absolutely beautiful blue springs. Camped here for 2 nights and it was amazingly fun. The park offers kayaks and canoes to rent. There's a lot of hiking trails. The campsites are kept well and most if not all have water and electric hook up. Rangers and staff are friendly and helpful.
  • I always loved coming here as a kid and jumping off into the water. It's so blue and pretty. Look for naked island it's a smaller tucked away spring here and great if no one else is there. U can swim there too. I always explore around here when I go.
