  • Decent stop while heading up or down the mountain. Good place for snacks, but some items are a little pricey. I originally visited the location thinking this was going to be more of an apple orchard store with a huge assortment of apple items. Overall the variety of items inside seemed to be less apple items and more a variety of snacks and gifts. I saw cherry cider at the time, but no apple cider which was what I had come in for, as I remembered buying fresh apple cider from a place out in Arizona as a child. They carried candied nuts, roasted nuts, and a variety of pies and fudge. The fudge seemed to be one of the more popular items being sold along with the apple pies which were featured on a roadside sign. They did carry an assortment of apple items, I saw some candied apples, and apple butter, and apple pie, but overall the massive amount of other items in the store overwhelms the apple items. I feel like the apple focus was lost in the chaos of the crowd and the huge variety of non apple items. The store had a country feel to it, but the staff was busy at the time we visited. It was peak tourist season when families were traveling with kids on summer vacation. We did leave with some snacks for the trip ahead, I cant say I found what I was looking for or that I experienced something overly unique, but I would be willing to return and take another look, I didn't get a chance to sample the apple pie.
  • I went with an adorable expectation, and it was achieved to a degree. The fudge is yummy, but expensive. The pecan pie was great and so was the cream soda. The not so awesome part was the disingenuous amount of corporate one size fits all souvenirs. The big Apple boy outside needs some TLC, his face was peeling! Everything was charming, including the indoor train on the ceiling and the adjacent view. I would recommend this place absolutely, but just go in knowing it is a business, and not your grandmas house.
  • Place has lost a little bit of it's charm. This last visit was the first time I walked out without buying anything.
  • Was my first souvenir shop I stopped at being in New Mexico, and it was the cutest stop. A little bit over priced for even the smallest things, but super cute and fun knick knacks. My husband loved the samples of fudge. Definetly going back when I visit NM again.
  • This little store had a good selection of souvenirs and the prices were very fair. Make sure you grab a bag of the beef jerky from here, it was very tender and the spices were blended perfectly.
