  • I'm from PA but am here in Michigan visiting family for a few days. It's been rainy all week so instead of just sitting in the house all the time, my father suggested we head over to the Gilmore Museu...  more »

  • The Gilmore Car Museum is a great place to see the history of automobiles. Many different makes and different buildings. Enjoy the tractor show in the summer.  more »
  • This is an awesome car museum. Several buildings. Wheelchair access. Excellent array of early autos. More antiques than muscle cars, but great rare examples from each decade.
  • This is one of the World's greatest museums. It is far more than an automobile museum. It features transportation, fashion, miniature dioramas, and much more. I have the great pleasure of being a member, and as member, since it is a 501(c)3, non-profit, that makes me also a part owner, just like you!
  • An awesome automotive museum sprawled across several barns, mock dealership buildings, and a main gallery. Outdoor walk is required to reach several of the outbuildings. The sheer number of cars and the quality of the displays is impressive. The 40's diner serves tasty snack and lunch options (of which I think the BBQ pulled pork sandwich is the best!). Note that there are only a few attractions designed for young children, as most of the cars are hands-off; but my children still enjoyed the open grounds for running around, and liked looking at the cars. Great place!
  • Do you like cars? This is the place for you! You can spent a whole day here easily. I highlt recommend it.
  • There's just loads to learn about vehicle history and history in general here. A great place to spend a day learning. The cars are beautiful and the gas station is fun. I strongly recommend coming here regardless of your age or wether or not you bring people with you.
