Great to just walk around the different gardens or just sit and people watch. The butterfly room was very peaceful to be in.

It was beautiful! If you love nature and flowers you will love the Hershey Gardens. There are quite a few paths you can choose, all crossing over one another at some point. Also rather inexpensive. I believe it was $10 or under.
This is a very nice Garden. It Is overshadowed by all of the Hershey theme park stuff going on around it. It is well worth the trip if you like nice Gardens. We came in August and there was lots to see that was blooming and beautiful at that time. It wasn't particularly expensive and we spent a good for hours there to see the whole thing. My wife had back problems and they had a couple of loaner wheelchairs and that was very helpful. there is also a little gift shop with some cute little things. My granddaughter's favorite stuffed friend is a caterpillar we got from that gift shop. We actually drove out to see the garden not knowing that Hershey theme park was there. What a surprise that was! I have seen bigger nicer more amazing Gardens but this one is very lovely and will bring you much pleasure.
The Hershey Gardens provides a peaceful, beautiful, family fun, and educational environment just seconds from the hussle and bussle of Hershey Park and scenic downtown Hershey. It is a breath of fresh air and safe for an exploring and curious child.
Beautiful gardens that are well cared for and maintained. I especially love the butterfly house and the Japanese garden. It takes roughly an hour to walk through each time I visit. Ask for a map at the front window. Plenty of places to sit in the shade and also places to sit that are quiet and out of the way. Also offers a great view of Hershey Park. Parking is free. These pictures are from mid April.
Slightly overrated. We visited the park because it was included in the package deal we got for visiting hershey museum, would not have otherwise visited. Is a decent sized garden with lots of varieties of flora. However the kids play equipment is broken and dated and doesnt work as well.
