  • We drove up the lane for this winery on our tour of over 15 in the surrounding area. There was a $5.00 cover charge to get in that did not include a wine tasting. We decided that $20.00 for our party ...  read more »
  • There is a great view of the Missouri River here. If you like to party this is an excellent spot. If you like good Missouri wines, then you need to visit other wineries in the area. The wine here is f...  read more »
  • We went on a Thursday and it wasn't crowded which was prefect. My guess is on the weekends that it is slammed. The beautiful view is probably the best view at all the wineries in hermann. So if your l...  read more »
  • Absolutely the worst customer service I've ever experienced. The owner’s brother is beyond rude and ungracious. The treatment we received from this ill-mannered man was absurd. He will continue to drive away business if you allow him to interact with your customers. Sangria is $8 a cup which is more ice than liquid and it taste like a watered-down spritzer. The wine selection was poor and overpriced. Bring your own wine to Oakglenn. Beware of an angry, aggressive, overweight, older man.
  • They charge $3/person to try the wine regardless of how many you taste so try them all. When there's a band they also get you for $5/person cover. Average of $21 a bottle which is mid-high for the area, puts you at $37 for a couple to drive up, get a bottle and sit down. Comparable wineries are $7 less per bottle with free tasting and rarely charge a cover but if your ok with spending a little more it's your choice. Food service is terrible. Waited 15 minutes in line to be told they were out of almost every option. Ordered pizza, came back 10 mins later to pick up and they had lost our order. They just laughed and offered a new pizza. Came back 10 mins later and 1 of my 2 pizzas was ready. 5 minutes later returned to receive the wrong type of pizza. Wasn't willing to wait again so after 40 minutes we just ate the wrong pizza and got over it.
  • A local recommended this winery as the one that was a must due to its incredible views. It's located on a hill overlooking the river. I can't wait to see it in the fall! Another thing that sets this winery apart is that it offers live music in the evening. Most wineries close around 6 (on Saturday, at least), so this gives visitors something to do at night.
  • Was here to pick up my wife and her friend after the "Beer and bagel" run, so we didn't stay long. But, the place is very nice and huge. Wow, the view was amazing, too. I'd totally like to come here for lunch or dinner. :)
  • Lots of space and great views. My only negative is that the tasting area is pretty small. If you come during peak time you might have to wait. They also have live music in the evenings after other wineries close.
