  • My daughter and I make this a yearly visit - we actually go twice during the fall to get different types of apples. It is fun to pick your own. And there are activities for children.  more »

  • Stepp's orchard is a must go place every Fall for my family. We go several times every year for the past 7 years. The apple selection is amazing and the staff do an excellent job. They've grown so much over the years making each trip more fun with the addition of a corn maze, a farm playground, and even apple cannons. A great place to get out and enjoy being outside with family or friends.
  • Great experience. We had been here on Labor day weekend. Decided to go here after reading google reviews. We had decided to go to other orchards but decided to come here after seeing negative reviews for other places. Glad we took that decision. the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The orchards are huge. We loved the apple cider donughts. They were extremely soft. they have place to sit and have snacks. orchards are big enough. We all had a great time at Stepp's. they have a tractor ride.
  • A wonderful place to take the family. Kids had so much fun. Not too much walking for the littles. Can't wait to come back.
  • My husband and I visited Stepp's for our first apple picking trip together, at the recommendation of a Hendersonville native friend of ours. We got there early on a Monday morning, and were among the first people there. We were immediately greeted and shown where to go. A young man explained the procedure, answered our questions and handed us a map to find the apples we wanted. Most of the trees were still full and we had most of the orchard to ourselves. We don't have kids, but they did have some thing set up for kids. We passed a cornmaze (which they allow visitors to use during the weekends and for school trips it seems), as well as a play area with hay bales. We had a nice time, and it was a much better experience than Sky Top ever was. If you're looking to avoid crowds and get fresh in season apples, this is a great spot. The only picture I thought to take was sold these gorgeous sunflowers. Enjoy!
  • Best price around. Great selection. Extremely nice people. Lots of fun and beautiful views for pictures!
