  • This is a very nice park, a great place to walk. It is safe and family friendly. I would go there even if it were not close to my house.  more »
  • Love the walking track! I usually start by Veterans and take the path thru to Drakes Creek and just keep walking. Parts are shaded by the creek which makes for a relaxing stroll. It can get crowded du...  more »
  • We decided to skip the crowds in Gallatin and watch the eclipse from here. Good call. Park was not overly crowded and lots of nice shaded areas to sit and relax. Walking trails looked really nice and ...  more »
  • Me and my friends were watching a softball game at about 10 pm and while we were just hanging out a guy with the parks came up and asked "if we were looking for someone" as if we couldn't be there by ourselves and we were up to no good just because we are a few 16 year old boys. Might I add there were plenty of people also watching this softball game and hanging out in the park because you know, it's a public park. He then asked if he needed the cops after we told him we were just hanging out watching softball. He was speaking to us as if we were under the influence or something. I personally take offense to this because I do not do drugs of any kind. It is frustrating I can't be in my city's public park during open hours because i look "up to no good". Thank you.
  • Truly one of Middle Tennessee's gems. This park has great soccer fields and baseball diamonds, a running/bicycling track, open fields for any sport and even a small steam for fishing.
  • Expansive park across the center of the city. Pro tip: try the running trail/greenway through this section of the city. Shaded and located right beside a creek. A not-so-hidden gem in Hendersonville.
  • I literally take my dog, Troop, here almost everyday! We love to jog around the lake with ducks, and throw ball at the dog park! The dog park has doggie bags and water fountains which we both appreciate!
  • Very nice greenway. Lots to do and plenty of wildlife to see.
