  • Wow! It has really expanded with multiple ponds. Ladies working there are very welcoming & knowledgeable all around. Lots of benches & some lovely look out areas to explore. Best to wear covered shoes for the dirt/gravel walkways. It can get dusty. Bring a hat for the sun! Lovely day.
  • A gem in the desert! This is a wonderful park for people looking for a nice quiet stroll looking at birds and wildlife. Although we primarily saw ducks and other waterbirds we also saw hawks and songbirds as well. If you're looking to find something other than pigeons, grackles, and mockingbirds to test your birding skills, definitely check out the preserve!
  • Loved coming here for the first time! Definitely a hidden gem in the desert. The staff were beyond welcoming and friendly. They took time to walk with us through the classroom and talked with and educated my kids. They made the experience exciting and inviting for all of us. The kids loved walking and exploring around the ponds and see birds we don't normally get to see in Vegas. We'll be back for sure.
  • Great place to walk around and bird-watch, with plenty of resources in the visitor center for newbies like me. The volunteer staff is helpful and friendly. I wish they were open past two, though.
  • Beautiful migratory path for resident birds and those passing through.
