  • Recently went on the tour with some friends. I read some of the reviews and they are all over the place. Therefore I will try to explain what I think the tour is and is not. This is not a huge cave. I...  more »
  • We been to many caverns and I did enjoy this much . Guide was pleasant and prices are fair I would recommend giving them a try
  • The water level was lower than they usually experience however it was still much deeper than it appeared. What looked like 12-18 inches deep was really over 30 feet . Because you were able to see your...  more »

  • We went here during our vacation in the Poconos. We have been to numerous caves/caverns in our life. This one didn't measure up to any of our previous cave visits. This place is tiny and there was trash and cables and other debris on the ground. The railing was broken in a few places. They had lights on the whole time and it caused algae to grow on the walls. So, the cave itself was quite disappointing :( However, the people were super friendly and they have a very cool gift shop. If you aren't a cave snob like me you will probably have a better time than we did. Otherwise, save your cash and go somewhere better.
  • Lost River Caverns is a place out of time -- it's one of those old-fashioned, wholesome attractions from way-back-when - and I mean that in the best possible way. Low-key, but very interesting. A great place to visit with the kids (and to keep cool in the summer!)
  • This place is nice for anyone who would like to take a nice quick guided tour inside a cave. They also have a very interesting gift shop with some really neat gems. The staff was super friendly and very helpful in regards to both the history of the cave and the gems in the gift shop. It's a great place to take the kids for a nice fun day trip. Be careful coming around the corner when entering and exiting the parking lot.
  • A very nice cavern to visit. During the school year many students pass through here, so it can get pretty crowded. Still, the caverns are interesting and fun to tour. The gift shop carries a lot of neat stuff.
  • Pretty neat Place, nowhere near the level of coolness that many of the caverns in Virginia are. But still a neat place. Fun little gift shop at the end.
