  • Had a fantastic private tour of the vineyard, and factory (we went on a Monday morning - no crowds). Learned a lot and sampled a lot. Never liked Zinfandel but there's was fantastic! Bought a bottle t...  more »
  • My wife and I are from the east coast and took time to visit let's say a few winery's in Sonoma and in Napa. By far the Sonoma experiences greatly outweighed the Napa experience. The staff at rodney s...  more »
  • As a cab girl, we came to Rodney Strong because we enjoyed their Pinot so much! Surprisingly, we found their cabs to be quite good! It was a laid back tasting with some great staff! Tastings are waved...  more »

  • Attended a Chris Isaak show as part of their summer concert series. Sitting in the lawn section, we were told by security to sit down, as they had received complaints from the people behind us that we were blocking their view. These were bogus claims, the people behind us were on our side, and security kept bothering us, threatening to eject. We were never impolite, and many other concert-goers were harassed by security, despite the music act actually telling people to stand up and dance.
  • Beautiful decor, friendly and knowledgable staff. Attended the Wine Barrel Tasting Tour and they handled the volume of visitors nicely. We were interested in all the bottled wines that we tasted.
  • Worst Vineyard in Sonoma County, but did not used to be. Such a shame! Rodney would be turning in his grave if he only knew what crap comes out of their recent production. I bought a bottle of Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon at Trader Joe's recently and was horrified. Sour garbage wine that make me want to cry over how good it used to be. I guess price drop at Trader Joe's means bad wine!
  • Some of California's best wines from a quality price quotient! There reserve wines compete very well with Valley's best.
  • Great vineyard. I have always liked their Merlot. Not a huge fan of the Pinots but good overall.
