  • Great, simple lunch spot while touring the area wineries. Like going back in time. I had the pulled pork sandwich and my wife had the chicken salad. Both served fast with a smile. And the owner Carrie...  more »
  • This is a great place for lunch or a snack about 7 miles outside of Healdsburg. Menu features wonderful salads sandwiches and casual lunchtime fare. The store itself has a fun funky mid century vintag...  more »

  • A must visit if in the area. Food is fantastic and made from scratch. Staff is friendly and helpful. Ask for their PB, Bacon and Jam on a biscuit and add cream cheese. Trust me.
  • Hokey cool place...went there cause diners drive ins and dives highly recommended their brisket sandwich...WHICH IS NOT ON THE MENU NOR DO THEY SERVE IT....had pulled pork microwaved and chili which was right out of a can....don't waste ur time. If you are known for something....you keep it on the menu....
  • Jimtown is my must-stop location whenever I'm cycling the Alexander Valley. The sandwiches, the soup-of-day, are gourmet and have never disappointed in >5 years of this being a regular stop. Truly a wine-country gem. There's always traffic, but I have yet to find it super-busy. I'll point out, it's got one of the best souvenir stores in the wine country, with the most unique items for both adults and kids. Normally, I'd pass up on buying stuff while I'm on my bike, but these folks have really thought this through. Superb.
  • Expensive tourist trap is what this place is. Stopped by while cycling today to buy a bottle of water. In addition to the ridiculous price for the water, they wanted to charge 75 cents for each cup of ice! This is really taking advantage of customers!
  • I'm using the Jimtown Store cookbook (again) for company this weekend, and decided I must send kudos to them for all those fantastic recipes I've used. I love it! The braised short ribs with coffee gravy, on horseradish mashed potatoes with bacon, roasted butternut squash & apple soup with sage, balsamic roasted vegetables, Yukon gold potato gratin with caramelized onions, goat cheese & chives, plum cobbler... I could go on, but from soups/salads to desserts, they've all been amazing. Alas, I haven't been to the Store (too long a drive from Santa Fe), but very much hope to one day.
