  • Very well maintained. Small, but beautiful, and generally uncrowded. Worth a visit if one is in the area. Includes ponds with fish and turtles. Appears child friendly. Open daily from 8:30 a.m.- 4:00 ...  more »
  • It's hidden between apartment buildings, can't really see it from the outside. But, once you are inside, it feels like your are off in another world.  more »

  • This award-winning, free-admission garden is a little secret jewel in Hayward. Many residents do not even know it exist. Great place for photo shoots and a little stroll. The adjacent senior center and little theater are all great places to visit.
  • Beautifully maintained by master gardeners who volunteer their time. Picturesque. Diamond in the rough. Make sure you visit the senior shop. Handmade items by local residents.
  • It's a hidden gem. Our family had a wonderful time visiting the Japanese Gardens during one weekend and was pleasantly surprised that there was such a nice garden with authentic oriental style and tranquil environment. You feel like being in a different world once you enter the garden. There was also a small pond with fish and small waterfalls. It's relatively small compared to the other gardens and parks we have been to. We finished our visit within 30 minutes. The condition of the roads to the garden could be improved a bit. Overall, we had a nice time there and it's free.
  • Ah it's so peaceful, find your mojo, relax beautiful gardens.
  • Cool place to show your girl you know all the little ins and outs of the area. She'll be impressed.
