  • Kalapana has been a lighthouse on the island of Hawaii village as a lava flow going on next door... and one day, the lava deflected his way and after evacuation of the village, it was literally swallowed up. Today, the new rail road which was the village of Kalapana and which is more than a wide casting of black lava, leaving a testimony striking what may cause a volcanic eruption. Between the blue of the sky and the ocean where successful casting and intense Black lava, emerging with ferns and shrubs that take over possession of the premises. Obviously enough liquid River of molten rock that has engulfed Kalapana still seems to flow beneath our feet: it's impressive and moving. For photographers, a wide angle and a trans-standards enough, think of offset in exhibition against the intense blackness of the lava.
