  • Clean, well run, deep in the woods, just how I like my camping. We stayed in a cabin which was well maintained and clean. The electricity was a nice touch so we could set up a monitor for our kids. The rest of my extended family stayed in tents, the ground was flat and big enough to setup. Unfortunately we did not see much of the overall park as we were using this space as a half way point to other events.
  • I came here for my birthday and had a wonderful time. There is so much to explore and the entire place is incredibly picturesque. Very easy to spend the day here especially if you love nature and being outdoors. Whether you or want to take a hike, camp out with friends or even have a nice picnic this is the place! Great for families, for day trips with friends or even to explore nature on your own. Only a short drive from the DMV this is an ideal spot for excursions and more.
  • Lovely park to go hiking in. Railroad trail around lake is easy to follow with young children. Great place for a hike if you have little ones!
  • Great hiking and fishing. Also good historical places to visit and tour. Has camp grounds and an area with a pond, pavilions, play ground and restrooms.
  • Take a break from stress and enjoy what mother nature has to offer! Breathtaking!
