  • great to slip in early while everyone else sleeps and pick up some goodies for all.It is the home or the world famous Apple Ugly
  • Miles of beach all to ourselves. Many small towns along the way to explore when you want to break from the sand
  • This was a perfect time to take a walk on an absolutely secluded beach. Not often you can find a place where there are no other footprints and it looks like you are on the moon. Awesome time.

  • Campgrounds are maintained Driving on the beach is the way to go. All the gear at your fingertips. The Rangers are great. We spoke with Ranger Brian at length. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and informative. Bring bug spray and sunscreen a sun shade and cooler also make me happy.
  • Beautiful beach where you can get permits to have fires on at night! Just beware there will be crabs EVERYWHERE! We didn't realize there was a crab sanctuary just north. creepy but still kind of cool to see how many crabs there were!
  • Awesome beach and is less crowded than the northern OBX beaches.
  • We just love the fact that is not to crowded, peaceful and is a beautiful beach!!
  • Beautiful spot! Love the National Seashore! A must-see.
