  • We visited Royal Oak for the first time last year and we loved it! Of course we went back this year, and they were wonderful once again. Huge apple selection, and there's always people out in the orchard willing to help you out! This year our 5 year old managed to set his apple bag down somewhere in the orchard, he was pretty bummed about it and told a woman named Cindy about it when we were purchasing some honey from the shop. Cindy took him to the pre picked apples and let him fill a bag up to make up for his lost apples, he was so excited and happy! Thank you to Cindy and Royal Oak Farm for another great visit. We'll be back every year 😊
  • Great Orchard: Fun variety of apples, smells are amazing and store is a lot of fun and generous with samples. The apple picking requires a good amount of walking (or tractor ride) but the walking is a fun part to us. The variety of apples is great, the kids area has fun homemade play sets and a petting zoo, train ride, merry go round. The people are friendly and we love going during the week to avoid the crowds. On weekends I think you have to pay for parking too, so the venture isn't cheap, but the drive out there and the whole experience doesn't disappoint. coupons for large families would go a long way.
  • My wife and I have been coming here for six years now and before the employees were extremely hospitable and the prices were reasonable. Now however you are required (starting last year) to buy a bag per person in order to pick apples which means if you have more than two people you are picking several pounds and spending a ton to do it. The whole experience here seems to be one that's becoming commercialized and the tradition and fall warmth is no longer part of the experience. It's a shame that we won't be continuing this tradition with our new born son.
  • My family has been coming for a little over 10 years! Best apple orchard I've ever been to! Best doughnuts, chicken tenders, honey mustard, Corn Pops, apple pies and honey!!! Yes, the prices have gone up, but this is a business and they need to pay their employees. To us, tradition is more important than the price of apples. This is something we do one time a year, so we plan accordingly for the price. I cherish the many years spent here with my family!
  • We had a great time at this location. Good variety of apples and the orchard is quite fun to walk thru. The electric train and petting zoo were fun and the restaurant had ample seating (haven't tried the food because of a bit of a line ...). The tokens thing was a bit confusing and we still have some left, but comparing the prices it seems compatible with other similar locations.
