Went to this place upon a recommendation and was not disappointed Was told it was in Amish Country so expected a rather primitive experience, but this is an A-typical "Amish" themed restaurant, brough... more »
What a fun place to spend a few hours. Lots of shops selling new and used items. Half of the building is vendors selling all sorts of food items---cheeses, meats, pierogis. baked goods-----the list is... more »
Excellent selection of locally and internationally produced goods. Plenty of trinket-like items, but there are also big purchases available too, such as furniture pieces. Prices tend to be a bit high, but the atmosphere is great. Food available here is of pretty good quality, and the produce deals are some of the best around.
Great indoors and out! Same Outdoor vendors often but new ones weekly as well. Affordable & fresh meat market indoors.
You can always count on the Hartville Flea Market. Get there early and spend a few hours. That's what it's going to take you to see all of the vendors. There's a HUGE variety of things. You never know what you're going to find. Bring some cash. Duma's meats is there and they are the best local butcher shop. You can also get great great prices on local produce. Hartville is the best!
This place is massive, it is an outdoor flea market, produce outlet, deli outlet, and almost everything else can be found here. To go thru and view everything would take a couple of days as the sheer size and diversity. Make sure to bring cash as most outdoor vendors/flea market people don't swipe. Though mostly everyone indoors does. Great place to find some cool and exotic stuff.
Many years ago this was a great market to both buy and sell at. Nowadays, it's just not as good as Rogers or Jamie's. Hartville would greatly benefit from switching to one day (such as Saturday), as opposed to doing several days a week. It also needs to make all of the dealers set up next to each other on days where it's not full, so that shoppers don't have to walk from the SW corner to the NE corner just to see stragglers who for some reason think it's a good idea to set up far away from everybody else.
