  • The XL Center is typical of many small civic centers built in the 1970s. It is ugly, concrete, and has exposed mechanical systems. It is clear that little to no effort has been made to upgrade the ven...  read more »
  • It looks a little dated on the inside, but still a great place to catch a Wolfpack game. Not a bad seat in the house and ticket prices are fair. Lots of history too. You can just picture the Whaler ga...  read more »

  • I normally go to hockey games here. They are pretty good, but getting into the event has become a problem. There are less and less people checking tickets, so you have to wait in line forever. Even showing up 30 minutes early does not mean you will get in on time. Food and drink are also way overpriced and not the best
  • I saw rihanna here and i know she isn't the best live performer but the space didn't help either. The lighting, the sound, the acoustics, the TVs, the bubble machines, all seemed sub par and don't get me started on the drinks and bathrooms.
  • Buyer beware of the non refundable tickets. Their website does not give an option of reviewing the final order before purchase and by mistake I placed an order for a different date and now there are no refunds. Also all sorts of fees were tagged on to the final price such as $2.50 for delivering the ticket to my mobile phone!
  • The game was great however, the xlcenter is just a dirty old building. The security staff would not let this little 6 year old child into the rest rooms. The reason given was she had to clear the area, at best maybe 25 people had to leave this area. There were no public rest rooms in the loby and no one was allowed inside the arena. This could have been fixed with a few cones and security tape. This was a wolfpac game, the center was not even 25 % full. Hey Hartford wake up you have lost another customer.
