  • By this lighthouse being tucked away, it truly is a gem. I can only imagine it saying come see me!!!
  • This was another stop on our lighthouse tour up the coast. It was a relatively short visit but well worth the stop! Nice views and a beautiful lighthouse what more could you ask for?
  • Every time we go, we find so many Petoskey stones and other unique rocks/fossils that our pockets are full when we leave.
Google
  • This is a completely biased opinion - my grandparents have a cottage down the road from here, and I've been coming up for the last 34 years each summer. It's a part of my childhood. The museum is always fun to go through, despite the number of times I've been; you can even climb the tower for a small fee and look out over the point and lake. It's more than worth it. Now, with kids of my own it's fun to go into the old school house and show them how school USED to be, albeit way, way before my time!
  • Tuesday afternoon and the parking lot is full but you can't climb the lighthouse until the weekend? The old school house was very well preserved but some of the other artifacts on the grounds were clearly not being protected for preservation. The views from the beach were nice but there are better along Lake Huron.
  • What a great Old Lighthouse, even though our visit was cut short because of a gathering Storm. This brought a safe conclusion of our first day visiting the Light Houses in Michigan
  • Full of history and plenty of culture to observe. And the staff was very pleasant and very kind
  • One of my favorite places to visit! Make sure to walk out on the point, and along the beaches.
