  • Every camp site is well-equipped and manicured. This is one of the safest and most family-friendly parks in the state. Showers are great (clean). Beach front is exceptional. We have two dogs. They wer...  more »

  • The park has improved the picnic areas. The picnic area is near the beach on Lake Huron. Lots of sand, but also rocks near the shore line.

  • Great spot for camping. 6 family bathrooms/restrooms. About the nicest restrooms and showers Ive seen at a campground. Beach is nice. Lots off beach are the best but hard to book. When an rv gets the beach spot it cuts off all visibility of beach from other campers. Wood vending machine that accepts credit cards. Directly across the park is a pretty decent restaurant. Town was disappointing with most of the gift shops out of business.
  • Beautiful park. We've stayed here 4 times, as short-term as 1 night and as long as a week. Staff is friendly and facilities are nice. My recommendation though is to avoid holidays and weekends if you like quiet camping. The "10pm quiet hours" are not mantained. During the week is a much better time to go if you can manage it. Overall a beautiful park with great beaches.
  • Good campground. The beach and facilities are nice. The mayflies are plentiful in the spring-summer and took some getting used to.
  • Absolutely beautiful with an awesome sandy beach! Beach campsites are amazing. Bathrooms were kept clean and had several private bathrooms with showers available. Many things to do there and nearby, we'll be back again for sure!
  • The park is beautiful. Trees and a nice walking trails. Lake lots, basketball court, volley ball nets and wonderful bathroom facility.
