  • We enjoy ourselves here every year. As you can see from some of the reviews, it's not perfect. So if you have a huge travel trailer and are real fussy, then you won't like it. Lots of areas to walk and hike. Great for kids. The bathrooms are fine, but again, if you're fussy you might not like them. It's above average, and worth it. But if you're looking for a pristine, perfect place that never has problems, this is not going to be for you.
  • This place brings back memories! We came here a lot when my children were little. We used the pavilion past the pool for our family reunion. It was shaded great! There were plenty of tables. The bathrooms were a short walk away. They were actually clean when I went in there. They had turkey vultures on display near the entrance. The younger kids loved that! They also have camping and various swimming spots. It was really nice to see its taken care of.
  • Beautiful place to camp, fish, boat, and swim. Nice playground and good swimming pool. The Dockside restaurant is small and you might have a bit of trouble getting a table at busy times ...but the food selection is good and well prepared. Very nice waters here!
  • Stopped by to take a quick hike around the lake, however did not get very far because of all the broken glass I found on the trail. It wasn't fresh but was very clear and directly on the trail. I spent over an hour picking up glass ,getting less than .33mi from trlhd just above campground. (Drove thru - full of RVs, not my style but if that is your thing, nice shaded spots) I found quite a bit of animal tracks along the waterline - deer, possum, coyote, and scads of raccoons. Plenty of nice spots to hang a hammock and chill. Initial section of trail is uneven/rocky but it levels off and is easy to follow
  • Great park with decent hiking/biking trails, boat launch, and fishing! Also has a few picnic areas with grills. Easy to get to and navigate within. Beautiful view of the bay!
