  • Harrison Bay State Park has hiking trails, mountain biking trails, and a lot of water to keep any outdoorsy type occupied. The fishing is great too. Crappie, largemouth bass, and smallmouth bass are a...  read more »
  • Amazing views and a very clean campground. Easy to get to, hook up and travel to Chattanooga. Kayaks were easy to launch right from the campsite.

  • Beautiful place to camp, fish, boat, and swim. Nice playground and good swimming pool. The Dockside restaurant is small and you might have a bit of trouble getting a table at busy times ...but the food selection is good and well prepared. Very nice waters here!
  • GOOD place.... BUT, as of June 9 , 2016 their pool has been closed until they find "7 certified lifeguards", it's June 11 and there is still no pool, which I understand you can't find lifeguards in a split second, BUT.. Please mind there is NO sandy beach areas, all concrete, which hurts the kids feet, we have had to get swimmy shoes for the kids just so the concrete & broken rock don't hurt the kids feet in the only good swimming area there is. They have also taken down all children play areas, so there is no where for kids to play, except in the $3 pool place, which is of course closed. They have a rope swing that swings out in literally 1 foot of water, in Campsite A. There is no where to have fun. I will most likely not be coming back because if I would've known their pool would've been closed, and there was no play areas, I would NOT have came. Just warning everyone thinking about coming here.
  • Great park. My son loves the bits of prey exhibit near the entrance. The park is well cared for. The dinner on site is a good place for a quick bite before enjoying the water.
  • Grew up here. Love the park area and the bike trails. Like to put our boat in here the dock is well maintained. Do not like the camping area so much. The spots are small and hard to get into and the area is too crowded. Makes it feel dirty like a trailer park.
  • Wonderful patk, great for camping *(complete with bath houses) or just for the day, day areas have grills, pool, lake access for swimming, grills, picnic tables, boat ramp, fishing peers, marina, pavilions, play ground, sand volley ball court, 5 mile Mountain bike trail *(the whole trail is lake side), golf, wonderful family owned restaurant right on the water, *(Dock Side Caffè ) great country cooking, my favs are the pork loin, Philly sandwich. All veggies fresh and cooked to prefection, meals from $6 to $12. It is easy and inexpensive to make it a day or overnight trip for the whole family.
