  • Family-friendly fun. I can't think of anyone I know of that lives in the Chattanooga area who hasn't been to Harrison Bay, and most of us visit regularly. It's a free-admission state park, and they recently received several new upgrades that really brought the facilities up to par. The star-walk is great, and the marina is fantastic. The trails are nice and easy, great for people of all ages.
  • It was a beautiful park. We were right on the lake swimming off the campsite. Blacktop level sites good fireplaces clean showers and restrooms. Wished we could have stayed longer. Only thing I don't like is it is by reservation only.
  • The park itself was fine but the pool was awful! The lifeguards took a 15 min break every 30 mins, the pool had leaves and twigs along the bottom, there was absolutely no shade or places to sit. Not worth $5 per person.
  • Great place to have a get together with covered pavilions available for rent. They also have camping areas for RV's with hookups and primative sites too. Boat docks and launching facilities to boot.
  • Great facilities that include a marina, restaurant and swimming pool. There is excellent fishing in the waters surrounding the park.
