  • Very enjoyable loop trail around Wildwood Lake. I took the dog every day in May and watched a pair of Baltimore (Northern) Orioles build their nest piece by piece. What a treat! The lotus in bloom are...  read more »
  • I would highly recommend this for anyone who loves a good nature walk. It does have some steep hills but its worth it in the end. If you are looking for a good place to go on a good walk, this is it! ...  read more »
  • Did the complete hike around the lake/wetland. Took a little over an hour. There were butterflies hatching. Got a long/interesting lecture on them.
  • I've been doing wildlife photography here for 4 years through all the seasons. Wonderful and photogenic park!
  • This is a very peaceful place to look at, but I wish there weren't so much traffic noise. The traffic distracts from the beauty and peacefulness. Still a wonderful place to take a walk.
  • One of our favorite places to go walking as a family. Lots of wildlife to see. Volunteers are Always extremely friendly and helpful. great with the kids! Lots of fun programs to check out as well!
  • Nice park for walking, running and biking. Many trails to choose from and lots of scenic views. There is always wildlife to watch from chipmunks, to turtles, butterflies, birds and even a doe with her fawns.
  • This park / nature preserve features a beautiful and educational nature center building ample , public restrooms / water fountains , picnic tables and a pavilion ( they've even thought of secured water bowls for the pooch ) there are lengthy wooden "boardwalks and bridges crossing picturesque woodland streams. You will see colorful birds , waterfowl , butterflies and more...There are miles of paved and and dirt trails for running cycling or walking or exploring nature everything is very well kept and preserved. really don't understand the negative previous comments , ( This is not a pristine lake for swimming / boating it's a nature preserve hence water plants Lilly Pads and other vegetation to support wildlife NOT industrial runoff or "slough"as described in previous comments) This is a great place for young and old spring, summer and fall !
