  • We enjoyed watching lots of people fish. There are a few areas to park your car with short paths to the lake. We only visited one area of park but drove by some of the other areas. All had quite a few...  more »
  • We stopped at this park for a picnic and to stretch our legs on the way to nearby Hershey Park. There is a small nature center with bird / wildlife watching, kids activities and several miles of well ...  more »
  • Bring your hiking shoes as some of the path gets murky and muddy. It's a beautiful park, mostly marsh. I never really saw many animals, but it's still a nice place to relax.  more »

  • Checked this park out on a Sunday. It was not really a good day for hiking with the snow melting, but I still enjoyed the walk. The park is beautiful and well maintained, wood walkways seems really fun but with all the snow, I couldn't try it. The main loop trail is great for hiking or running. It's 3.2 miles if I remember it right. There were a lot of families and friends hanging out there. Also a great place for photography. I would definitely go there again when spring comes.
  • Love this place. Come here before work to relax to gather my thoughts and see beautiful things. Nature never disappoints me. Even on a rainy day!!!!
  • We love seeing nature in the mist of a bust city. This place allows us to see migrating birds, deer, chipmunks, squirrels, and much more. We love walking here often.
  • A large space to walk and run. There are a good number of lookout spots. A great outdoor space for Harrisburg.
  • Great place to do some walking, running or biking. The main loop is exactly 3.1 miles (5k distance), and has some decent hills. There is a beautiful boardwalk area to check out as well. There is also a nature center on site with a gift shop, bathrooms and meeting/instructional rooms. Great resource and place to bring kids.
