  • Every History Buff will love this place and anyone studying or interested in the period of the Civil War will love it as well. They have interactive displays that attempt to appeal to different ages so there is something for everyone.
  • This is my favorite museum. They take great care to be impartial and show all sides of a difficult story. The location is beautiful, both the building and the surrounding area. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I make a point of visiting any time I'm near Harrisburg.
  • Very disappointed! The entire exhibit was in very low lighting, hard to see items on display & read the descriptions. $44 for a family of four was a waste of money
  • Very nicely done. Beautiful building.
  • Great museum run by professional historians who are true to their craft. CEO Wayne Motts is a national treasure. Harrisburg is fortunate and smart to have this musuem.
