  • Nice stop for quick history of candy. One is an author and a neat individual to chat with. Of course, candy selection was nice.  more »

  • While staying in Harper's Ferry last year(2016), I stopped here twice and spent around $60 for three plastic grocery bags full off historic candy! You'll find almost anything candy from various eras. I thoroughly enjoyed reading historic facts about each candy on the candy labels. In addition to candy, they also sell items such as marshmellow root. There is also vintage memorabilia objects and books for sale that the owner has written about historic candy. It's a must stop if you enjoy anything about candy, history, or are just looking for a neat gift.
  • Owner is very friendly. Great place with such a variety of candies I have never seen before. Great place.
  • Prices are absolutely outrageous. That being said, they offer many options that simply aren't available conveniently anywhere else. The staff isn't really all that friendly (or punctual around lunch time). We like the Rose Turkish Delight.
  • Great place for all ages! Don't miss checking this place out. Recognized as the only historic candy store in US!!
  • This place is amazing.. step back in time and taste a piece of history. These are real authentic candies using recipes from the past. Wonka couldn't have done it better.
