  • Not enough parking. We tried to visit while traveling in our 29 foot motorhome. There are 3 bus/motorhome parking spots. All 3 were occupied. We drove to Marquette and ate lunch. Drove back and this time there were 2 motorhomes with a truck and car parked in the 3rd spot. Very disappointed we could not enjoy this National Monument.
  • There is a small museum with an interesting video. The mounds are scattered along miles of hiking trails.
  • Awesome views and great exercise while learning some interesting history.
  • Great area to visit and hike through, the type of area where you feel surrounded by millennia of history.
