So many beautiful pieces of blown glass - something for everyone. From something you can place in your garden to a beautiful bowl or vase you can display in your home. Stop and shop!
Fascinating place with beautiful glass works of art. The glass blowers / artists work on pieces at the back of the store from the main entrance. They interact with the customers demonstrating and explaining the process as they go! Loved it.
Great fun to watch the glass blowing in action. I believe they also have lessons you can sign up for if you ever wanted to test your hand at the art!
The Harmony Glassworks has been in place for a long time. We were in Harmony and just shopping yesterday. What a selection of work. From marbles, to bowls to sinks to figurines, to earrings, to cups, to big works of art and more there is that special gift for someone waiting for you! We were pleased with the big inventory and this place is on our list for real specialty gifts. I understand they have classes in glassblowing, however I was unable to speak to anyone. They were busy and it was late in the day.
Ever since she was a little girl, my sister has talked about wanting to take a glassblowing class. So when she turned 50 this week and we were vacationing in Cambria, we finally took the plunge at Harmony Glassworks. I'm so glad we did! Nate was a thorough, patient and encouraging teacher. He guided us individually through each step of the process, and we made beautiful bowls. The steep price ($150/person) was worth every penny for a memorable experience, some new expertise and a treasured bowl.
So authentic and a great selection
