  • It took me a few years to make the rounds, but after seeing all of them (and a lot of others) this is the best, imho. The campus is historic, scenic, and easy to navigate. Unlike some of the others co...  read more »
  • Campus is beautiful walk in the fall. Great engineering programs for future scientists and engineers. The price of tuition appears high, but I am told that scholarships are a plenty.
  • This is a wonderful town and campus to visit. Perfect time to go is during the Fall. Would bring a Frisbee to toss on the quad!
  • Love it!! First class everything except the weather. Never experienced any discrimination of any kind as described by other comments. Perhaps it's because I'm used to NYC and my skin has grown thicker lol
  • Reputation of this school is good and bad. The education for students is excellent and provides them with lifelong advantages of networking for successful careers. The obvious negative with the school is their lack of diversity, but it isn't necessarily their fault. This is a very "white" school, due to economic status and environment. The town is very small, and it will require that you really, really enjoy the outdoors to make the most of the environment. There is a bus one can take to head into Boston, MA but you will probably want to have a car if you plan to travel more frequently during the school year. If you are fortunate to attend this school, or get a job here - you will be enjoying it very much with the understanding that you enjoy the outdoors and being part of higher education.
  • Driving through to see historic New Hampshire locales. Beautiful campus with nice downtown nearby. Friend trained there and was quite complimentary.
  • The college itself is situated in the middle of nowhere, which is great if you love outdoor activities. Dartmouth owns much of the surrounding trails, cabins and even has its own skiway. Social life revolves mainly around the fraternities and sororities, which almost three quarters of students are members of. The administration is the only weak link in the institution.
  • As a student, I love it here. Plenty of opportunities to study abroad, great professors, easy-access to research opportunities, funding for internships, decent eating options, and despite the relatively small size of Hanover, there is always something to do.
